The E-MAG Fuel System

How does E-MAG work?

Fuel is fossil based and contains elements which can be magnetised.

E-MAG breaks down the elements into smaller clumps of molecules, giving a better balanced mixture of fuel and oxygen and hence more efficient combustion. The extra power which is produced can be used to give better engine performance, better mpg or a combination of both. What is certain is that emissions are reduced and this can be readily checked at the exhaust.

The benefits for any engine are smoother running, reduced maintenance (because of more complete burning), a reduction in deposits and cleaner oil - leading to an improvement in engine life.

For Petrol engines, the reduced emissions mean an extended life for costly Catalytic Converters.

Diesel engines benefit from a reduction in black smoke and PM10 particulate emissions. Gas powered engines benefit by a hotter burn at the point of combustion which can lead to a saving in fuel usage of up to 15%.

How is it fitted?

The E-MAG unit is clamped across the fuel pipe of the vehicle as close as possible to the point at which it is introduced into the engine.

On diesel engines it should be close to the pump, on petrol engines near to carburettor or injection unit and on lpg powered vehicles close to the distribution unit.

The fuel pipe does not have to be cut, the E-MAG unit is clamped across the pipe externally and held in position by strong cable ties. Installation is very simple and can be carried out by most drivers with ease. The results of fitting an E-MAG unit on a diesel engine can be seen within minutes of fitting. Emissions reduce immediately the conditioned fuel is used and this can be readily confirmed with a smoke test meter (the test which is carried out during MOT checks).

On petrol engines the results take a little longer to become apparent. The immediate impressions are that the engine is running smoother and is more responsive, however at least 2000 miles of driving is necessary for the full benefits to be felt. This is due to the wax build up in the carburettor or injection system; the E-MAG needing time to break these deposits down to ensure maximum efficiency.
